R & D + I

At XLG HEAT TRANSFER S.L., we are developing a research project that, in basic terms, consists of the “DEVELOPMENT OF AN ADVANCED EVAPORATION SYSTEM”.

The main objective of this project is to develop a system that integrates falling film evaporation (FFE) and forced circulation evaporation (FCE) technologies with corrugated tubes, in order to improve the efficiency of heat transfer processes in industry. This system will consist of vacuum equipment, evaporators and condensers, and will use saturated steam as the heating medium.

The project is currently under development and is expected to be completed in 2026. Its implementation will involve an investment of approximately EUR 763,000. It has been developed with the support of the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI), under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and co-financed by the European Union (ERDF funds) through Spain’s Multi-Regional Operational Programme (2021–2027).
