Heat exchanger hairpin monotube HIHAIRPIN MONOTUBE
This heat exchanger comprises a U-tube within a U-shaped shell. The inner tube is either corrugated or smooth. The flow is pure counter-current and allows crossing at very high temperatures between the tube-side and shell-side fluids.
According to the design temperature and pressure conditions and the fluid process, materials are selected from all available metals such as: austenitic, duplex, high temperature resistant, superaustenitic stainless steels, exotic alloys (Inconel, Incolloy, Monel, Hastelloy), titanium alloys (grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 11), cupronickel Cu/Ni 90/10 and 70/30, Admiralty brass, copper and carbon steel.
